📋 Program Hakkında

The Renewable Energy Systems program is a forward-looking, interdisciplinary engineering degree programme focused on climate protection and reducing CO2 emissions. Students learn about all technologies related to the use of solar energy, wind and hydropower, geothermal energy and bioenergy, as well as important economic and socially relevant aspects. The program teaches how to use renewable energies to provide electricity and heat in a climate-friendly way and how to use them efficiently with new building energy and mobility concepts. Students also learn how to intelligently link the production and consumption of energy using innovative energy networks and storage systems. The program is very practical, featuring project tasks, simulation games, internships and excursions throughout the studies. Basic modules provide broad knowledge of natural and engineering sciences, mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration and sustainable development. Elective modules allow students to set their own focus in areas like geothermal energy, building energy technology, mobility systems, or networking and digitalisation of energy systems.
