📋 Program Hakkında

The seminar Frames of Attention is designed as a content and formal deepening of the basic course on Time-Based Media. The focus is on how image, sound and time structure our perception under conditions of technological mediation. In experimental exercises, students examine rhythms, automatisms and microprocesses of the filmic gaze - focusing on montage, stillness, fragmentation, duration and loss of control. They work with existing technology (smartphones, AI tools, found footage) and implicitly reflect on the relationship between attention, self-visibility and technological control. Maximum 12 students (KoDe 3rd semester preferred).
