The Industrial Engineering program at OTH Amberg-Weiden prepares students to be a link between technology and business. The program offers an interdisciplinary education in engineering and business subjects, technology and management. From the 6th semester onwards, students can choose a specialization in either Digital product development or Digitalisation in production and logistics. The program has a high degree of practical relevance with project work, modern laboratories, and excursions. The program includes a practical semester in industry. Core industries for graduates include automotive, aircraft construction, energy technology, information technology, medical technology, logistics, research and development, and machine construction.
