📋 Program Hakkında

Politics-Economics is a Dual-subject Bachelor's programme that can be taken as a primary or secondary dual subject (60 ECTS credits). It can be studied either for a non-teaching career goal or as a professional teaching qualification. The curriculum includes politics and economics, as well as educational science. Students gain skills to apply and reflect upon central issues and methods of social studies and economics. They learn to evaluate the historical and social significance of political issues, generate generalisations, and recognise current developments. In economics, students evaluate micro and macroeconomic issues, developing a broad understanding of the subjects and their interrelations. The programme requires consideration of political and economic interdependencies and interdisciplinary themes. For teaching careers, students gain competencies to select goals, teaching content, and learning concepts for planning, carrying out, and evaluating politics, economics, society, and education.
