📋 Program Hakkında

This degree program is a cooperation between FH Dortmund and the Federal School for Orthopedic Technology (BUFA). Applications are coordinated through the Federal School for Orthopedic Technology, and students are then enrolled at FH Dortmund. The program focuses on patients and their individual medical aid supplies. It allows students to combine work and study, with students determining their own pace of study to balance professional and personal commitments. The curriculum includes in-depth knowledge in anatomy, pathology, biomechanics, prosthetics, orthotics, and rehabilitation technology/seating shells, as well as expanded knowledge in scientific work, natural and engineering science fundamentals, measurement technology, and control technology.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Completed vocational training as an orthopedic technology mechanic plus higher education entrance qualification (Abitur, Fachabitur, or 3 years of professional experience in orthopedic technology) * Alternatively, master craftsperson in orthopedic technology; examination achievements can be recognized as course achievements * Orthopedic shoe technicians with 3 years of professional experience in orthopedic technology can be admitted * Orthopedic shoe technology masters with experience in orthopedic technology can be admitted * Proof of an existing employment/internship relationship with an orthopedic technology company is required due to the practice integration * International students must provide equivalent qualifications and language skills
