This is a teaching degree program for special education schools with a focus on intellectual disability education and physical disability education. The program consists of two special education disciplines that make up a quarter of the total studies for teaching at special schools. The intellectual disability education focuses on topics such as autism, behavioral issues, life crises, aging with intellectual disabilities, living arrangements, vocational rehabilitation, and creative expression. The physical disability education covers topics including the interdisciplinary approach to physical disabilities, socialization and personality development, relationship between movement and cognition, supportive learning models, teaching methods, and current research in the field.
