📋 Program Hakkında

This bachelor's programme in Social Studies at the University of Oldenburg prepares students for careers in planing, administration, consulting, research, and teaching. Combining both theoretical and practical instruction, this programme helps students learn to critically and independently come to terms with developmental processes in state and society using methods from the social sciences. Possible career fields are dealt with as objects of social-scientific analysis as part of the degree course. The career fields open to graduates of social sciences are quite varied. They range from careers in public administration and education (both inside and outside the school system) to positions in national and international organisations, in the area of political and social consulting, and research in institutes and universities. Most of these fields require a master's degree, especially for higher-level positions.
