📋 Program Hakkında

The subject of Protestant Theology analyzes the statements of the Christian faith with the aim of highlighting their relevance and truth in dialogue with the present; it is committed to the heritage of Reformation theology and its history of influence. The program covers several disciplines: Old Testament and New Testament studies focus on biblical texts as normative documents of Israel's history and early Christianity; Church History follows the development of doctrine and church institutions; Systematic Theology accounts for the truth claims of Christian tradition in dialogue with contemporary basic convictions; Practical Theology provides a methodically reflected theory of church fields of action; and the study of non-Christian religions is served by the subjects of Religious and Mission Studies and Jewish Studies.
