📋 Program Hakkında

Theatre Studies focuses on the study of theatrical performances of all kinds. The program covers European theatre history from antiquity to the present, theory and aesthetics of theatre, contemporary theatre, and media and cultural studies perspectives on theatrical phenomena at the intersection of art and everyday culture. The interdisciplinary orientation of the subject between media and cultural studies makes Theatre Studies a mediating interface between various disciplines. Students take courses in cultural analysis, media and cultural theory, as well as interdisciplinary seminars. The program is structured in three phases: introduction phase (1st and 2nd semester), advanced phase (3rd and 4th semester), and specialization and final phase (5th and 6th semester).
