📋 Program Hakkında
The Fine Arts program at HBK Braunschweig focuses on free and largely independent work in one of the 17 artistic classes of the university. These cover the entire spectrum of fine arts and related artistic forms of expression: painting, graphics/printmaking, sculpture/installation, photography, film/video, sound art and spatial concepts. The program begins with a two-semester foundation study in one of four foundation classes, followed by studies in one of 13 specialized art classes after passing an artistic intermediate examination. The aim of the study is to be able to independently realize one's own artistic work projects based on broad craft and media as well as material-specific skills. The program ends with a diploma examination, and exceptionally qualified students can be admitted to a two-semester master student program.
