📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's program in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Electrical Engineering builds directly on the content of the preceding Bachelor's program, but offers greater flexibility and takes into account your professional interests. In the business administration part of the Master's program, you can choose a specialization from a wide range of topics. The business curriculum is supplemented by mandatory modules in qualitative or quantitative methods and a mandatory business internship. The business focus is chosen from a profile area including Management, Accounting and Finance, Intelligence, Logistics & Operations, or Economics. In the electrical engineering part, the program builds on the content of the Bachelor's program with many elective options. You can choose modules worth 38 ECTS points from up to two areas of the following specializations: Automation Technology, Energy Technology, Embedded Systems, Integrated Systems, Communication Technology, and Mechatronics. Research-based learning forms an important pillar of the Master's program with seminars, a research project, and the Master's thesis.

* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau or equivalent qualifications with at least 180 credit points (excluding practical components) * For applicants with Bachelor's degrees from other universities, the following requirements apply: * Business Administration: 36 credit points (including Cost and Revenue Accounting, Financial Reporting, Production/Logistics, Marketing, Investment and Finance, Human Resources, Organization and Operations Research, Strategic Management) * Economics: 12 credit points (including Microeconomics, Macroeconomics) * Law: 9 credit points (including Civil Law and another legal specialization) * Scientific Foundations: 8 credit points (competencies in the field of scientific theory) * Electrical Engineering: at least 88 credit points * Mathematical and Statistical Methods: 38 credit points (including descriptive and inferential statistics, analysis, vector calculus, differential equation systems, and data science) * Experimental Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Measurement Technology, Information Processing: 50 credit points
