The four-semester Quantitative Accounting and Finance master program connects advanced economic knowledge from the fields of Accounting and Finance with mathematical methods. The program's combination of Accounting & Finance with Mathematics, which is particularly pertinent for the labor market, is unique in Germany and has been developed in accordance with the needs of modern departments at companies and institutions of the financial industry. The mathematical training begins with individual prior knowledge, in order to ensure the right learning curve. Major topics include a core curriculum in Accounting & Finance as well as Mathematics, with opportunities for in-depth studies in Mathematics, Accounting & Finance, Statistics/Econometrics and Economics. Graduates are prepared for challenging specialized and management positions in the financial industry, financial departments of industrial companies, and finance-related governmental organizations.

* Degree requirement: Subject-relevant bachelor program from Economics or technical/mathematical degree courses with an overall grade of at least 2.8 * Credit points: At least 60 credit points in economics modules * Specialized knowledge: At least 24 credit points from Controlling, Decision Theory, Investment and Financing, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Accounting * Methods competencies: At least 18 credit points in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Econometrics or Empirical Economic Research
