The diploma program in industrial engineering provides modern and well-founded competencies with a strong practical orientation, enabling students to control and combine technical and economic forces. Students acquire key qualifications of a leader for a globalized environment, such as social and language skills. The program offers comprehensive technical understanding with an entrepreneurial mindset, making graduates successful at interfaces within companies. The study program comprises eight semesters: the first four cover basics of business administration, economics, law, engineering, and mathematics; the fifth is a practical semester in a company (with possibility of studying abroad); and the final semesters include specialization seminars, case studies, and project work. Specialization areas include Mechanical Engineering, Energy Management, Strategic Management, and Operational Management.
