The Bachelor's program in Social Work and Pedagogy (B.A.) follows a 2plus3 model, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Students learn about social problems, their causes and effects, while developing strategies to address these issues with professional competence and empathy. The program provides a solid foundation in psychological, sociological, pedagogical, and legal principles. Students gain practical experience through projects, case analyses, and reflection processes, developing skills in conversation techniques, counseling, and evaluation. The innovative teaching concept combines in-person classes and digital learning formats. After graduation, career opportunities include social institutions, educational work, or municipal management. The program offers four specializations starting from the third semester, with three leading to state recognition as a social worker/social pedagogue and one leading to state recognition as a childhood pedagogue.
