📋 Program Hakkında

The program prepares students for scientifically-based and pedagogically responsible activities in physical education. It offers both scientific-theoretical and practical-methodological teaching with content primarily related to school sports. The study is divided into introductory courses in sports science, specialized courses in movement science, biomechanics, sports medicine, sports pedagogy, sports psychology, sports sociology, and training science, as well as courses on the theory and practice of sports movements. The focus is on typical school sports, sports games, athletics, gymnastics, gymnastics/dance, swimming, and martial arts, as well as selected winter and water sports and other trending sports. The degree qualifies graduates for teacher training and is equivalent to a Master's degree, also allowing for doctoral studies.

* General requirement: Higher education entrance qualification (usually Abitur) * Participation in CCT self-assessment procedure * Passed sports aptitude test * Medical certificate of no concerns * Experience in guiding sports activities for children and adolescents is desirable * Personal training and competition experience in sports practice is desirable
