The aim of the "Technical Consulting and Management" study programme is the qualification of students for management assignments and consulting activities in a professional environment with a focus on technology. This is not only done with a view to the classic consulting industry, but also with an eye towards career entry into positions in the technical management field, for example, in the manufacturing industry, which involve project and staff responsibilities. The degree course is based on both an economic and a technical foundation, conveying in-depth knowledge from business management, business control, project and organizational management, and methods of strategic business consultancy. The technical foundation includes advanced knowledge in technical management, product design and development, production management, and innovative production technologies. The program also includes mathematical fundamentals in optimization and quantitative methods, and interdisciplinary courses in "Consulting Skills" including conducting negotiations and presentations in English.
