Digital Engineering Mechanical Engineering combines modern engineering knowledge with digitalization in a practice-oriented program. Students learn to plan, develop, and improve machines digitally using tools like computer-aided design (CAD), 3D modeling, simulation, and digital prototyping. The program covers Industry 4.0, Internet of Things (IoT), data analysis, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Students can choose between a training-integrated or practice-integrated program, both involving partnerships with industry companies. After foundation courses, students specialize in one of three areas: Digital product development, Mechatronics and digitalization, or Smart Production.
