The Master's program in Theatre Studies focuses on the history, theory, and aesthetics of performances as well as theater-related phenomena. Students engage with a broad spectrum of theatrical and performative aspects, from historical questions about the evolution of theater and performance cultures to contemporary dramaturgy and forms of aesthetic intervention. The program is positioned at the intersection of cultural, art, and media studies, offering interdisciplinary courses. It strengthens students' scientific-analytical abilities while preparing them for professional practice. The program includes collaborations with theaters, festivals, and event venues in the region. Key areas of study include drama and theater history, aesthetics of contemporary theater, dramaturgy, theater in relation to other arts and media, performance/media/culture, theater and society, and theory and aesthetics.

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degree in Theatre Studies or a field related to cultural, art, media, literary, or theatre studies * Knowledge of theater history and performance analysis is required (if not demonstrated by the Bachelor's degree, it can be acquired during the first year of study) * If the Bachelor's degree certificate is not available by the application deadline, applicants must submit a certificate of all study and examination achievements completed so far, including the average grade achieved (certified copy issued by the responsible university), with at least 135 credit points earned
