This course of studies enables students to further their specialised education in Jewish religion, history, and culture from antiquity to present-day streams and living worlds, and at the same time to prepare themselves for the teaching degree with didactic and pedagogical skills in independent modules and in a school placement. The M.Ed. Jewish religious education comprises the subject of Jewish religious education with its specialised didactics, another area of theory and methodology with its specialised didactics, education studies, the Master's thesis as well as the school placement. It prepares students for the teaching degree for Jewish religious education at Gymnasium secondary schools.
