📋 Program Hakkında

This part-time, online-supported Master's program lasts 4 semesters (90 ECTS) and concludes with the professional qualification 'Master of Arts'. The program is structured as follows: 8 compulsory modules (5 ECTS each), 7 elective modules (5 ECTS each) from different areas, two practical/research projects (10 ECTS), and a Master's thesis with accompanying colloquium (25 ECTS). The compulsory modules provide scientific knowledge and competencies on digitization in general and highlight current developments. There is also a classification in central topics such as digital media and data protection. The area of social structural change is also introduced and presented in interaction with digitization. The elective modules offer students a professional theoretical reference in 3 blocks and form the key competencies for professional backgrounds. In the practical/research projects, students implement the knowledge acquired during their studies in their work environment - e.g., by initiating and implementing change processes with a focus on digitization, data or knowledge management. The Master's thesis is a scientific work with practical relevance on a topic of digitization and/or social structural change.
