📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's program in Preventive Fire Protection aims to bridge the educational gap between architecture, civil engineering, and other engineering disciplines and the high professional and personal requirements for qualified fire protection engineers according to legal and professional standards. It primarily targets engineers from the broad spectrum of construction participants and aims to provide necessary in-depth knowledge in fire protection. The goal is to lead students to specialized competence and entrepreneurial capability through scientific deepening and supplementation of their professional experience. The program has been successfully conducted since 2003, initially in cooperation with the University of Zittau/Görlitz until 2012, and since 2013 in cooperation with Dresden International University (DIU), the continuing education university of TU Dresden. More than 280 graduates of this program apply their acquired knowledge in self-employment or in employed professional activities in industry, business, or administration. Some are now working as state-recognized experts or test engineers for fire protection.
