To prepare students for a teaching career, the Master of Education in French combines fundamental specialised knowledge in the areas of French literature, linguistics, and cultural studies with instruction in the specialised didactics of these subjects. The degree programme focuses on the classroom-oriented processing of specialised knowledge. The theory and methodology modules comprise 18 credits (CP), while the specialised didactics modules comprise 13 CP, 5 of which are reserved for preparation and follow-up of the practical semester. The programme includes a Blended Module which serves as the intersection between theory and methodology and specialised didactics.
