A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering provides an entry into one of the most interesting, varied and future-oriented professions for students interested in technology - the profession of engineer. The program focuses on engineering fundamentals, mathematics, electrical engineering and computer science in the first four semesters, followed by specialization options. The BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg offers a high proportion of practical training and an individual mentoring system. Students can also choose a dual study program (7 semesters). The program prepares students for careers in various industries including energy, automotive, rail and aviation, or for continuing to a master's degree.
