📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's program in Embedded Systems Engineering provides skills for integrating hardware and software of computer-based systems for a wide range of applications, such as telecommunications (e.g., smartphones, network node computers), robotics (e.g., distributed sensor and actuator systems), automotive and automation technology, and many other areas. Small but powerful computer systems are increasingly permeating human life, not only in industry but also in private life, and will increasingly shape it. This program prepares graduates for the requirements of one of the major future technologies and their development in and for a global market. The program deepens knowledge in both hardware and software areas. Through the application of computer-aided design and testing procedures, students are prepared for the complex decision-making processes involved in the development and production of future, innovative products. Since embedded systems are used in all areas of engineering, graduates have very good career prospects in management positions, especially in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and the IT industry, as well as the opportunity to pursue a doctorate at a German or foreign university with further work in research or a career in academia.
