📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's program in Climate protection, environmental and safety engineering focuses on preparing environmental engineers to protect people from physical or chemical hazards and the environment from pollution. Having already acquired theoretical and practical foundations during a bachelor's degree, the master's programme emphasizes independent work, scientific thinking, and analytical approaches to deepen problem-solving skills. Students can put theoretical learning into practice through numerous lab events and have opportunities to participate in real-world projects with companies. The program also offers the additional qualification 'Expertise as an immission control officer according to § 54 BImSchG'. The curriculum includes courses in statistics, plant safety, process analytics, technical climate protection, water saving techniques, emission reduction, and various elective modules.

* Minimum degree required: Completed seven-semester Bachelor's degree in environmental science or a related discipline * Minimum Grade Required: Final grade of at least 2.5 (or better) * Non-academic requirements: English language skills at level B1 (or better) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages * Alternative path: Applicants who do not achieve the required overall grade may take an aptitude test to determine suitability
