📋 Program Hakkında

The aerospace industry is a steadily growing field and thus an extremely important and decisive global economic factor. Aerospace science and technology drives innovations in multitudes of disciplines and thus must be regarded as a pioneering technology field. The Technical University of Darmstadt focusses its long-standing and broad expertise in this field in order to establish a dedicated modern Aerospace Engineering education in the framework of a master's degree program. Due to its international and global character and relevance, this master's degree program is offered in English by internationally renowned aerospace engineering experts. The Master's degree program "Aerospace Engineering" understands itself as the link between engineering tradition and technological future. Consequently, the curriculum touches upon important and essential basics as well as modern and forward-looking technological aspects of aerospace engineering sciences in order to convey competences for prospective students for the establishment of engineering system solutions. The program consists of 120 Credit Points (CP) in total: Tutorial and projects (both compulsory): 16 CP, Elective Area: 74 CP (including Studium Generale: 6-12 CP), and Research/Thesis: 30 CP. The study programme links tradition and modernity, focusing on both solid education in traditional fundamentals of the constructive-mechanical field and teaching of new future-oriented fields of technology in aerospace, such as additive manufacturing or cockpit design.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degree in Maschinenbau – Sustainable Engineering at TU Darmstadt (reference programme) or a comparable degree programme * Required entrance competencies in: Engineering mechanics, Thermodynamics and heat and mass transfer, Machine elements and mechatronics, Systems theory and control engineering, Measurement technologies/sensors/statistical analysis, Numerical calculation/simulation methods, Fundamental fluid mechanics * For admission to thesis: at least 65 CPs earned, passed Tutorial, two Advanced Design Projects (or one plus external project work), one module from Compulsory Elective area Ia – Fundamentals, one module from Compulsory Elective area Ib – Digitalisation
