📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's program in Political Economics and International Relations focuses on the interplay between politics and economics in a globalized world. It examines the question of what design and control options are available to political actors within and beyond national borders in a politically and economically globalized and networked world. Students will acquire comprehensive expertise and skills in analyzing different data sources and formats, qualitative and quantitative methods of social research, and evaluating large amounts of data based on hypotheses. The program is interdisciplinary, looking beyond political science to include perspectives from microeconomics, international law, American studies, philosophy, sociology, and journalism. The curriculum is structured into seven modules: Political Science Research Methods, Political Institutions and Processes, Normative and Positive Political Theory, Political Economy and Welfare State, International Relations and European Integration, Interdisciplinary Specialization, and a Practical Module.
