Civil engineering is one of the oldest human activities and determines practically all areas of our lives. Civil engineers are considered essential for our civilization - in short: civil engineers are systemically relevant! The BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg offers four different study branches for individual profiling: 6-semester study branch, 7-semester study branch (dual), 8-semester study branch, and 8-semester study branch (dual). The university has strong connections to regional and national construction industries. Small groups, direct supervision, and modern laboratories ensure personal and practical education. Professional fields include planning and calculation in engineering offices, construction implementation, organization and calculation in construction companies, planning and construction in authorities, real estate and project development from an economic perspective, and development and monitoring in testing institutes and research facilities.
