📋 Program Hakkında

This Master's program focuses on sustainable energy supply to achieve climate goals, with renewable energies playing a key role. The program provides the know-how to take on innovative tasks in industry, public sector, and research. It offers two study variants: a 3-semester program for students with 210 ECTS credits and a 4-semester program for students with 180 ECTS credits. The program has two study fields: 'Sustainable Engineering' dealing with sustainability topics like electromobility, energy-efficient drives, industrial use of biomass, and environmental compatibility of economic projects; and 'Renewable Power Engineering' covering topics such as integration of decentralized energy generation into smart grids and modern power control of photovoltaic and wind power plants. The program includes extensive project modules where students work in teams on innovative energy technology issues with industry relevance. The Master degree qualifies for a Doctorate.

* 3-semester variant: First qualifying university degree in electrical engineering with focus on energy technology or comparable field with an overall grade of 'good (2.5)' and 210 credit points * 4-semester variant: First qualifying university degree in electrical engineering or comparable field with an overall grade of 'good (2.5)' and 180 credit points * Applications with degrees in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics, physics, or environmental engineering are not possible

* English language proficiency at B2 level (certificates not older than 3 years) through TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge Certificate, or DAAD * OR Bachelor's degree from an English-speaking country * OR at least 25 ECTS points from English-language modules
