The Bachelor's degree course in Practical Civil Engineering (part-time) at the University of Siegen prepares students to shape the infrastructure of tomorrow, focusing on climate protection, affordable housing, and sustainable mobility. The part-time program is structured like a conventional Bachelor's degree but can be extended to up to twelve semesters, allowing students to decide how many modules to take per semester based on their personal situation. Many students work during their studies to gain practical experience. The curriculum includes engineering fundamentals (mathematics, mechanics, surveying), classic disciplines (statics, transportation, construction management, hydraulic engineering), and current topics such as sustainable building materials, flood protection, and new mobility concepts. The program combines theory and practice through laboratory internships, excursions, and practical projects. A dual study program option is also available.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* A work placement of 12 weeks in total must be completed by the beginning of the 4th semester * At least 6 weeks must be completed on a construction site * Work in an engineering office is accepted for the remaining time * Prior work in a related field can be credited as an internship * Alternative paths available for those without a high school diploma but with technical college entrance qualification
