📋 Program Hakkında

The bachelor's degree program in Sports Science at KIT covers a wide range of topics, from psychology and sociology to medicine and sports management. Students acquire theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills to improve the performance of athletes and promote a healthy, active lifestyle. A central component is the use of modern technologies and methods for data collection and analysis. The program has a strong focus on social aspects of sport. Graduates have basic knowledge and understanding of sports science and in some areas an in-depth knowledge in the underlying social-scientific parent disciplines as well as in medicine and methodological competence. They can plan, implement and evaluate target group-specific interventions, taking into account social developments and scientific findings. The program includes core subjects in Sports Science and a choice between two compulsory electives: 'Sport and Health Management' or 'Sport and Health Psychology'.

* General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) * Subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification (not Fachhochschulreife) * Delta examination of the University of Mannheim (for holders of a Fachhochschulreife) * Recognized advanced vocational training or vocational training with professional experience and aptitude test * For non-EU/EEA nationals with a foreign school-leaving certificate: recognized direct university entrance qualification or university entrance examination and/or successful year of study in home country

* German language proficiency: minimum level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) * Non-standard requirements: If higher education entrance qualification was not obtained at a German-speaking institution, a separate language certificate is required (DSH-2, TestDaF level 4 in all four parts, or comparable certificate)
