The Bachelor of Arts - Digital Administration program lasts three years (6 semesters). It consists of theoretical study sections at the Hessian University of Public Management and Security at the Kassel and Mühlheim campuses, as well as practical study sections in training authorities. The program is modular with 16 modules totaling 180 credits, each concluding with an exam. Exams take the form of written tests, presentations, papers, oral examinations, and an experience report. The focus areas of the study program are: Digitization and Processes, Computer Science and Technology, Administration and Law, People and Management, and Scientific Work. From the second to fifth semester, theoretical study sections are integrated with practical studies (internships) totaling one year. During the third and fourth semesters, students work on a project. In the fifth semester, elective modules offer courses in 'Computer Science, Technology, Digitization' and 'Administrative Sciences'. In the sixth semester, students complete a scientific thesis addressing a practical problem from a work field, combined with an internship.
