📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's program in Strategic Communication focuses on the strategic planning and implementation of communication in companies and organizations. Students develop comprehensive competencies for today's and tomorrow's communication practice. The program addresses central challenges of corporate and organizational communication, including crisis communication, public affairs, responsibility, sustainability and ethics, internal communication, and strategic science communication. Students analyze communication campaigns and research on current issues in the field. A key element of the program is the close connection between theory and practice. In addition to a solid theoretical foundation and the application of empirical research methods, the direct transfer to communication practice is emphasized. In main seminars, students develop communication concepts for practical partners from business, agencies, or NGOs. Guest lectures and workshops by experts provide valuable insights into professional practice. The program features interactive learning formats, project-oriented small group work, and excursions. Special emphasis is placed on empirical methods, including quantitative, experimental, and qualitative analyses.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degree in journalism or communication science or an equivalent degree with no significant differences * Minimum requirements: At least 90 credit points (LP) or an equivalent amount of the total study volume in a journalism or communication science subject, of which at least 12 LP must be in the field of empirical methodology, including mandatory statistics * The 12 LP in empirical methodology must be proven by the end of the application deadline * If the bachelor's degree certificate is not yet available at the application deadline, applicants must have earned at least 135 credit points and submit a certificate of all study and examination achievements including the average grade achieved so far

* Non-standard requirements: For applicants who have not obtained their university entrance qualification or a degree in a German-language program, proof of German language skills at DSH-3 level or 4 x TDN 5 is required for enrollment * English language skills: Sufficient active and passive English language skills that enable reading of English-language specialist literature
