The Master's program in Urban and Regional Planning focuses on central future tasks in cities and regions and addresses the major transformation from the perspective of spatial planning and design. Students deepen their knowledge of the pressing tasks of transformation and learn to develop well-founded, creative planning solutions for the challenges of the climate crisis, structural change, demographic change, and social polarization. They are encouraged to set their own priorities in this field. Graduates of the program have the necessary expertise for the transition to professional practice in urban and regional planning and the skills to critically apply scientific methods and findings, take responsibility, and lead projects in the field of urban and regional planning. Through the specific profile of the program, they have developed competencies to understand, manage, and help shape complex transformation processes in urban and regional planning. This applies to activities in administration, planning offices, associations, scientific institutions, or other professional fields of spatial planning and development.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degree in Urban Design and Urban Planning or Urban and Regional Planning, or in the fields of Architecture, Landscape Planning and Architecture, Spatial Planning, Human Geography, Regional Sciences, or Real Estate Economics, whose contents have provided good competencies in spatial design (draft), construction and planning law, social, spatial and environmental sciences, as well as process and procedure design in cities and regions.
