📋 Program Hakkında

The Electrical Engineering and Information Technology – Dual Programme is a Bachelor's degree programme offered in cooperation with regional companies. The programme includes two practical phases in the 3rd and 6th semesters. Students can choose between two study options: 1) Training-integrated degree programme, where students complete a commercial apprenticeship and acquire a commercial qualification in addition to the academic Bachelor of Engineering degree, with the final industrial examination organized by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK); 2) Practice-integrated degree programme, where students complete extensive practical phases in a cooperating company without compulsory vocational schooling or skilled worker qualification. In the main degree programme, students can choose between four specialisations: Automation Technology, Sustainable Energy Systems and Electromobility, Information Technology, and Computer Engineering. The programme includes a practical project of at least ten weeks of practical engineering work in the 9th semester, which precedes the Bachelor's thesis. The practical project can be started after achieving 150 credit points.
