Production and Systems Engineering is a specialization within the Bachelor's degree programme in Mechanical Engineering. It focuses on how machines are manufactured, what happens during the life cycle of a production engineering plant, and how processes can be optimized and monitored. As an engineer in this field, you will deal with large production lines and processes and ensure smooth, automated processes within companies. The program includes a pre-study internship, fundamental courses in mathematics and engineering, interdisciplinary electives, project work, and a 10-week engineering internship. The specialization begins in the fourth semester, after three semesters of general mechanical engineering studies.
