For bachelor graduates in the fields of laser technology, additive manufacturing, biophotonics, mechanical engineering, and as a consecutive course in physical engineering, the master's program in physical engineering aims to train engineers who will shape the industry of tomorrow with the future technologies of lasers, 3D printing, and biophotonics. The program offers state-of-the-art laboratories with various laser systems for material processing, additive manufacturing, and biophotonics at the Laserinstitut Hochschule Mittweida (LHM). Students can tailor their studies through elective modules focusing on laser technology, 3D printing, or biophotonics. The program includes research and development projects to promote independent scientific work and teamwork abilities. Graduates are sought after in automotive engineering, medical technology, measurement and environmental technology, and information and communication technology.
