Above all, economics offers exciting theories that open up a new perspective on current events in the world. Language, culture and media can be put into a new context, which becomes important when it comes to finding a suitable job. Whether in publishing houses, public relations, the media or cultural institutions - economic contexts are omnipresent in everyday working life. The supplementary subject of economics provides the ideal basic knowledge. In compact introductory courses, even those with little knowledge of economics are offered an insight into the various areas of economics, such as marketing, economic policy or personnel management. The supplementary subject is an opportunity to think outside the box. The supplementary subject can only be chosen in conjunction with a core subject in study model B and D of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
