The Bachelor's program in Sports Science at BSP examines sports from a scientific perspective and is interdisciplinary in nature. Through sub-disciplines such as training and movement science, biomechanics, sports medicine, sports psychology, and sports pedagogy, the program offers diverse development opportunities for students. It is particularly aimed at those with sports interests who have already gained experience as trainers, recreational or competitive athletes, or exercise instructors. Students learn to effectively design movement and sports interventions and the associated processes for various areas and target groups, and to understand problems and develop suitable solution concepts in practice as trainers or instructors. The special sports-pedagogical and sports-psychological role that trainers play in the personality development of their protégés is also thoroughly addressed. The Bachelor's program in Sports Science is state-recognized and professionally accredited.

* General higher education entrance qualification, subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, university of applied sciences entrance qualification or comparable degree according to § 10 BerlHG * Or higher education access for professionally qualified persons according to § 11 BerlHG * Proof of a clear sporting reference through one of the following criteria: a) Proof of a successfully completed sports aptitude test (state or at BSP) or b) Proof of completion of the school subject sport in an advanced course in upper secondary school or c) Proof of current or past squad membership in competitive sports * Proof of swimming ability through one of the following badges: 1. German Youth Swimming Badge (German Youth Swimming Pass; age under 18 years) in Silver or higher 2. German Swimming Badge (German Swimming Pass; minimum age 18 years) in Silver or higher * German language skills at C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages are required
