📋 Program Hakkında

The M.Sc. Study Course Animal Biology and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) is a research-orientated study course that lasts four semesters. The program focuses on three main subject areas: Evolution, biodiversity and behaviour; Cell biology, developmental biology and neurobiology; and Infection biology. These areas provide an interface between biology and biomedical science and research. In the 1st semester, teaching content from all three main subject areas as well as interdisciplinary modules are offered. In the 2nd semester, students choose five modules from at least two main subject areas. The research weeks in the 3rd semester serve as preparation for the practical research for the Master's dissertation. The course has an international nature with lectures held in English. It includes courses like "Animal Protection and Planning Animal Experiments" and optional FELASA B training. The program prepares graduates for careers in biological and biomedical research at universities or in industry, both domestically and internationally.
