The seminar 'Fundamentals of Energy Economics' is aimed particularly at professionals and career changers who want to gain initial insights into the energy industry. The seminar covers the entire value chain of the energy industry: from energy sources through generation and conversion, transmission, distribution and storage to utilization. Current topics such as energy efficiency, power grid expansion, flexibility and storage, as well as political objectives are also covered. Prof. Dr. Tim Schröder imparts theoretical knowledge and practical insights into the business processes of the energy industry. The seminar takes place over two training days (18-19.08.2026) and aims to help participants understand the connections in the energy industry across the entire value chain as well as the coordination between stakeholders in the energy industry.
