📋 Program Hakkında

The subject of Nutritional Science and Home Economics in the Master of Education degree program deals with topics related to digestive and metabolic processes (especially in humans), industrial food production and processing as well as the economic, sociological and technical aspects of the agricultural and food industry. This includes the fields of nutrition science, food technology, home economics and food chemistry. The Master of Education degree program systematically deepens the knowledge and skills acquired in the Bachelor's degree program, with an increased focus on subject-specific didactic issues and practical school elements. This program prepares prospective vocational school teachers to adequately impart specialist knowledge to pupils in relevant training occupations (e.g. specialists in system catering, cooks, butchers, housekeepers).

* University degree (German or non-German) in a relevant discipline * 95 ECTS credits in discipline-specific/subject didactics modules of the Major Professional Discipline (with 6 ECTS credits in subject didactics) * 39 ECTS credits in the Minor Professional Discipline * 24 ECTS credits in educational sciences (with 3 ECTS credits on the topic of inclusion; aptitude and orientation internship as well as vocational internship) * Bachelor's thesis 7 ECTS credits * 9 weeks internship, including 25 days at a school * A foreign language (modern language on CEFR level A2 or qualification in Latin/Greek)
