The Fine Arts and Ceramics program offers the opportunity to learn and deepen the special expressive possibilities of ceramic media in connection with other artistic media. Ceramic materials (e.g., clay, porcelain, and their surfaces) come to the foreground as much as the artistic intention requires. The study begins with a two-semester basic course in Fine Arts (basic class), after which specialization in Fine Arts and Ceramics is possible. The goal is to learn how to realize one's own artistic ideas and to develop sensitivity for the different effects of ceramic media. Experiencing what is possible and trying the impossible serves the maturation of an individual artistic signature and the development of an artistic concept. The study enables graduates to work as freelance artists and in various creative professions.
