The Bachelor's degree course in Tourism Management at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences qualifies students for a variety of careers in the dynamic tourism industry. The program combines business management know-how with tourism-specific specialist knowledge and intercultural skills. It provides comprehensive skills in business fundamentals, tourism-specific knowledge, digital skills, intercultural skills, and foreign languages. A special highlight is the international internship in the fourth semester. From the fifth semester onwards, students can specialize in areas such as tour operator management, hotel management, or event management. The program is structured to gradually develop students into tourism and leisure experts, with the first three semesters focused on general business subjects and tourism-specific topics, followed by a 15-week internship in the fourth semester, and specialized modules in the fifth and sixth semesters.
