📋 Program Hakkında

"What kind of society do we live in?" - This basic question is addressed by sociological diagnosis of the present time. The program focuses on highlighting social phenomena as characteristic of contemporary society, interpreting them sociologically, and presenting these interpretations to specialist and wider public. The course covers theoretical prerequisites, methodological requirements, the relationship between sociology and society, and sociological knowledge transfer. It has a considerable degree of thematic openness, flexibility and proximity to research. In addition to theoretical and methodological knowledge about diagnoses of time, emphasis is placed on participation in research implementation through teaching research on changing topics. Students can explore topics in depth through a "Jour fixe" offered each semester, organize workshops and discuss ideas for their Master's thesis. The program includes courses in public sociology and scientific organization, as well as an internship.
