The consecutive Bachelor and Master program 'Robotik und Autonome Systeme' is aimed at prospective students who are enthusiastic about interdisciplinary challenges at the interface of physics, mathematics, computer science, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering. The program provides a solid technical foundation, particularly in the areas of electrical engineering, mechanics, and complex data processing. The focus is on the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new subject areas and understand technical and social problems. The profile is complemented by a clear focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), which drives innovative applications and forward-looking technologies as an essential part of the education. A wide range of elective courses allows students to specialize in areas such as medical technology, computer science, and mathematics in medicine and life sciences. Special emphasis is placed on practical training: the University of Lübeck, a leading player in robotics research for years, offers the opportunity to participate in innovative research projects as early as the bachelor's program. These projects include medical robotics, underwater robotics, service and rehabilitation robotics, and medical technology. The program optimally prepares students for the future development of autonomous systems, robotics, and AI-based applications - technologies that are increasingly revolutionizing production processes (Industry 4.0) and everyday life.
