📋 Program Hakkında

The PhD Programme "Veterinary Research and Animal Biology" is one of three structured doctoral programmes offered under the umbrella of the Hannover Graduate School for Veterinary Pathobiology, Neuroinfectiology and Translational Medicine (HGNI). Established in 1998 as the first PhD programme nationwide in Germany, it provides structured doctoral training focused on research. The programme offers intensive individual supervision of thesis projects and prepares doctoral students for positions in interdisciplinary and international research contexts. Students in this programme come from diverse backgrounds, including graduates of the TiHo Master programme "Animal Biology and Biomedical Sciences", veterinary medicine studies from Hannover or other national faculties, or from other life sciences offered by universities throughout the world.
