The Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) "Environmental Engineering" program addresses environmental topics such as water supply and wastewater disposal, circular economy / recycling management and alternatives to energy supply. The program combines the environmental expertise of the Faculty of Mechanical, Environmental and Plant Engineering with the expertise of other faculties and research institutions at the university. Graduates are able to analyze and deal with environmental issues scientifically and thus make an effective contribution to solving current and future-oriented tasks. The focus is on engineering subjects, with technical, scientific and business fundamentals taught in the first semesters, followed by application-oriented environmental technology modules from the third semester onwards. The program is offered in four variants: undergraduate course (6 semesters), individual entry (7 semesters), training-integrated study (8 semesters), and part-time study (8 semesters).
