The study of elementary education is structured transdisciplinary. This subject combines general pedagogical, educational science, didactic and specialist study content, which forms the basis of professional thinking and acting in the elementary school work-field. Students can choose between different subject specializations including German, Mathematics, Social Studies, Special Needs Education, English, French, and Art and Music. The program also includes modules from the field of study related to teaching professions (LBW), which covers planning, implementation, analysis and reflection of learning situations, the role of teachers, and insights into learning opportunities and challenges.
