On the bachelor's degree program in Physics, you will receive a broad, solid grounding in all key areas of experimental and theoretical physics. You will learn to systematically analyze physical problems, develop models and work on them using mathematics, experiments and modern computer-aided methods. In addition to specialist knowledge, you will acquire research- and science-oriented methodological skills as well as skills related to the professional field. Compulsory components such as physics internships, programming courses, courses on the use of computers in physics and extended options in the field of mathematics make a targeted contribution to this. The degree program also offers you plenty of scope to develop your own individual profile, in particular by offering a wide range of non-physics electives as well as options for advanced physics modules. It thus lays a solid foundation for the transition to a specialized master's degree program.

* General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) * Subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification (not Fachhochschulreife) * Delta examination of the University of Mannheim (for holders of a Fachhochschulreife) * Recognized advanced vocational training or vocational training with professional experience and aptitude test * For non-EU/EEA nationals with a foreign school-leaving certificate: The certificate must be recognized as a direct university entrance qualification in Germany, or additional requirements like university entrance examination and/or successful year of study in the home country may be required
